Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue has signed a proclamation declaring the week of May 15th through the 21st as Celtic Heritage Week. The signing of the proclamation took place on March 21st at 10:30AM at the state capitol.
This proclamation will enable the citizens of the State of Georgia to honor the culture and heritage that has so enriched this state throughout its history. This week will be a time to share the culture and heritage through music and education. Celtic Heritage Week will reach its finale with the Atlanta Celtic Festival on May 21st.
